(Main disconnect turned ON, control circuit powered).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Classic Mistake:<\/strong> In older local installations, technicians often used Red for &#8220;Motor Running&#8221; (meaning <em>Watch out, it&#8217;s live!<\/em>) and Green for &#8220;Motor Stopped&#8221; (<em>Safe to touch<\/em>). If you build a panel like that today for export to Europe, Southeast Asia, or the US, it will fail safety inspection.
