Momentary Illuminated Push Button Switch Head

Momentary Illuminated Push Button Switch Head

ACXION Momentary Illuminated Push Button Switch Head is a flush-mount modular button head combining spring-return action with integrated LED status indication — a compact solution for control panel assemblers who need both switching and signaling in a single component without the depth of a raised head. Available in red, green, yellow, blue, and white with IP65 protection as standard.

The ACXION Momentary Illuminated Push Button Switch Head pairs with contact blocks and a mounting frame to form a complete momentary illuminated push button switch. The flat profile sits flush with the panel surface when not pressed, giving a cleaner and more uniform appearance compared to a raised head — preferred in applications where panel aesthetics are important or where closely spaced buttons risk accidental actuation of a protruding raised head. Like all momentary heads, it springs back immediately on release. The built-in LED is wired independently to indicate an external circuit state such as power on, motor running, or fault active. Anti-rotation boss included. IP65 as standard, extendable to IP66.

FAQ:

Q1: What is the difference between this flat head and the momentary illuminated raised head?
The flat head sits flush with the panel surface, giving a cleaner appearance and reducing accidental actuation in panels with buttons close together. The raised head protrudes above the panel, making it easier to locate and press quickly by feel. Both have identical momentary action and LED function — the choice depends on your panel layout and ergonomic requirements.

Q2: Does the LED stay on when the button is not being pressed?
Yes. The LED is wired to an independent pilot circuit and reflects an external state — such as power on or motor running — regardless of whether the button is being pressed. It is not linked to the button action itself.

Q3: Are mixed color combinations available in one order?
Yes. If your panel requires different colors for different functions, specify the quantity per color when ordering and we will pack accordingly.
